American Elm is a neighborhood eatery and bar that offers elevated fare in a relaxed setting. It’s based in Denver Colorado. Since opening in summer of 2019, American Elm has been heralded as one of Denvers best new restaurants – with high praise given to it’s kitchen offerings, exceptional bar program, and service.

As a creative direction partner for the food & beverage group who owns American Elm, I was able to collaborate closely with Bob Reiter (majority owner and GM) from soup-to-nuts on just about ever identity, marketing, and restaurant experience design activity involved in developing and launching a contemporary restaurant concept. Branding and marketing? Of course. Finish of the white titles behind bar? yep. Whats the ideally human flow pattern of our waiting staff to best ensure a fluid customer experience? That too.
